Worth Seeing

Over the past 100 years - and even at the present time - Fanø has been very popular with paint artists, who still live here today.
they have all been mesmerised by the motives and the light conditions. Especially in Sønderho, also called "colony of artists" has established itself. In 1992 the Art Museum of Fanø was founded in the "Kromanns House". The House used to be amercantile and a factory. The mercantile was restored in 1868 and is now situated at the entrance of the museum.
The museum shows a variety of exhibitions, but mainly you can see paintings that show Fanø in the past and the present.
